'An Extra Crispy Conversation,' larger couch 9” long, cone 10 stoneware fired down with underglazes and 020 lusters.
This piece was accepted for the 2016 National Juried Student Exhibition at NCECA (National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts); over 600 pieces were submitted for consideration, and Joanna was one of only 11 undergraduates whose work was accepted for the exhibition.
Joanna is currently the artist-in-residence at Terra Incognito Studios (Oak Park, IL).
While at UALR she was an Educational Assistant at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts (Gatlinburg, TN)
