Detail of one of Mike's pieces for his BFA exhibition/installation (two views of the same piece). Each of these pieces was approx. 28" long, constructed with wheel-thrown-and-altered forms (inspired by shark eggs!). This piece was unglazed and fired to cone 6 in a soda atmosphere (gas kiln).
