This pot (2 views of the same jar) is the result of a student exploring creating functional pottery with the wheel; the assignment was to recreate the same form (sets of 20). This student enjoyed carving and altering the forms after they were taken off of the wheel; this faceted design was created with a utility knife. This pot was fired to cone 6 in oxidation (electric kiln) and is approx. 6" tall.
