This was my first semester at Salisbury University, and my challenge for advanced students who desired to focus on the pottery wheel: learn control through repetition. Each student would select a form (usually a photograph of a professional potter's form, but ideally an actual cup or other form that they could hold in their hand and study). They were challenged to re-create that form in sets of 20 or more, before they could move on to another form.
