*Each student must research glaze recipes (books or online) and test at least 6 glazes. Glaze recipes can be altered.
*Each cone 6 glaze test must be fired in oxidation (electric kiln), reduction (gas kiln), and soda (gas kiln).
*Some students also explore low fire glazes, crystalline glazes, or alternative firing glazes/techniques
Each of their tests must be carefully documented (like the example above; this was one of Lois’s glazes that she tested).
