Lois’s fish, which was initially sculpted by hand, and then a 1-part plaster mold was created from the original, so that Lois could create multiples (although each ‘casting’ was often re-carved and re-textured into a unique piece). This piece is approx. 18” long, fired to cone 6 in oxidation (electric kiln) with an iron oxide wash.
