Assignment: Teapot
This project is assigned near the end of the semester. Students may either find inspiration from a teapot created by another artist (contemporary or historic), and alter this design, or they can create their own design. In either case, the design is presented for review before construction begins.
Three detail views of this original design teapot, approx. 12” tall. This teapot was fired to cone 6 in oxidation (electric kiln).
